I made this
sculpture while an I-Park artist in residence. While walking the
land one day I came upon a mostly buried old stove. I unearthed
the pieces and began stacking them along the shore of a pond. Other
elements found around the area, including the plastic statue of
the Virgin Mary, worked their way into the piece. It was my first
large scale sculptural piece.
