Old World is made up of scraps of particularly Spanish papers, mostly packaging from everyday items. A large portion of the piece consists of sugar packets. Every bar seemed to have their own unique sugar packets, two of which would come with every coffee ordered. Though I don't use sugar in my coffee I began obsessively collecting the accompanying packages, dumping the sugar in the bowl at home, and saving the wrappers for collage.
